Engineer Bashir Gegu Felicitates With Gov Bello On Kogi @31 Anniversary

Kogi state Commissioner of Solid Minerals and Natural Resources, Engineer Muhammed Bashir Abubakar Gegu, has congratulated, the State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, on the suspicious occasion of the celebration of the creation of Kogi State 31 years ago.
In his congratulatory message released to the media on Saturday, Engineer Gegu thanked the Almighty God for the creation of Kogi State on 27th August 1991.
He also eulogised all the past and present leaders who midwifed the state to it’s present remarkable status wishing them more wisdom, good health and prosperity.
He said though Governor Bello is the latest and the youngest among all the leaders, Kogi has witnessed unprecedented developmental strides in just few years out of 31.
The Commissioner also noted with satisfaction, the diversification efforts of the state government in the minerals resources to help in the growth of the state sources of revenue.

Governor Bello has thought very well to embrace diversification in revenue collection from all the corporate agencies and companies operating in the state and that has benefited more people of the state businesses and social activities.
Engr. Bashir Gegu who is a native of Gegu Beki district of Kogi local government area of the State called on the citizens to continue to support the present administration under the leadership of Governor Yahaya Bello in order to sustain the relatively peaceful coexistence and more development.
