He appreciated the SSA for making his administration proud, for keeping the flag of the All Progressives Congress (APC) flying and for doing what every political appointee is supposed to do.

“Imran is giving back to the society not because he is wealthier or better than others but because of his love for his community. I am particularly impressed by his decision to empower 100 women with 10, 000 each,” Engineer Sule stated.

The Governor, who detoured on his way to Loko and Udege Development Areas for campaign, used the opportunity of the event to call on the people to vote for the APC and all candidates of the party during this month’s general election.

According to him, as the Nasarawa State Coordinator for the Tinubu/Shettima Campaign Organisation, he took it upon himself to first campaign for the presidential candidate of the party even before campaigning for his own reelection.

“Vote candidates of the party from the president, senate and house of representatives to that of Governor and house of assembly. I’m the Tinubu/Shettima Campaign coordinator in Nasarawa, I always start by campaigning for him before even campaigning for myself,” he stated.

While thanking the Sarkin Laminga and all the turned up to welcome him to the event, Engineer Sule distributed exercise books to the students of Government Secondary School Laminga.

In his welcome address, Hon Imran Usman Jibrin, said he was motivated to empower the people of his community because of the love and concern the Governor is showing towards the poor most vulnerable in the society.

“We are empowering the beneficiaries with different items like grinding machines, wheel barrows, semovita, pumping spray, cow salt, as well as ten thousand naira each  for 100 women. As responsible citizens, we cannot leave everything to the government. It is our social responsibility to give back to our immediate community,” Hon. Imran said.

He particularly thanked Engineer Sule, his political associates and the organizing committee for making the event a success.

“Because of your love and concern for the poor and most vulnerable, you are one of the first governors to domesticate the Conditional Cash Transfer programme, also known as Kudin A. A Sule. A monthly stipend of 5000 to the most vulnerable in the society. You are a hope to the hopeless, a voice to the voiceless and a bridge builder,” Hon Imran added.

In a goodwill message, Nasarawa Local Government Area Chairman, Hon Mohammed Sani Ottos, appreciated Engineer Sule for stabilizing security in the local government and especially for constructing the 25km Mararaba-Udege road.

Hon Ottos said by the singular gesture of the road construction, the Engineer Sule administration has wiped away the tears of the people of the area for the past 70 years, when subsequent administrations only made promises but failed to deliver.

“We want to appreciate you for this. There are so many things that you have done that you have written your name in history. We so much believe that your election in the next coming days, we will ensure your victory so that you continue to deliver dividends of democracy to the people of Nasarawa State,” he added.
