Engr. Bashir Gegu @43: Staff of Kogi State Ministry for Solid Minerals Celebrates their Commissioner.
The Staff of the Kogi State Ministry for Solid Minerals and Natural Resources, Monday, surprised their boss and Commissioner in charge of the Ministry, His Excellency, Engr. Muhammed Abubakasr Bashir Gegu on his 43 birthday anniversary.
Speaking on behalf of other staff, the permanent Secretary in the Ministry for Solid Minerals and Natural Resources, Mrs Helin Ujah, said celebrating their exceptional Commissioner was to appreciate him for the good works he has done since he came onboard.
Ujah pointed out that Engr. Bashir Gegu is a humane leader, huge asset not only to the Ministry, Kogi LG but rather to entire State, having performed excellently in office.
“We are here specifically to facilitate with you on your new age, You have been the brains behind the numerous progress being witnessed in this Ministry over the years and as such we can’t hide it but to tell the world how intelligence, competent and commitment you’re to the Ministry with a particular reference geared towards moving the State to the zenith level in line with new direction policy of present administration.”

On his part, Engr. Muhammed Abubakar Bashir Gegu, the celebrant and Commissioner for Solid Minerals and Natural Resources, described the Staff of the Ministry as his own very brothers and sisters who have remain supporting to his policies and programs aimed at enhancing overall development in Kogi State.
Engr. Bashir Gegu who is the Ondaki Ireku of Igu-Koton-karfe Kingdom reiterated his commitment towards providing more services and leadership to the State and humanity in general.
The Gegu Beki born politician said that he was happy and overwhelmed with the sincere open show of love by the Staff of the Ministry, assured of his continue support now and always.
Global Times Nigeria report that the Commissioner also doled out some cash to some staff who are facing health challenges to upset their medical bills.
The Commissioner who was flanked by some of his aides, supporters and well-wishers who have comes from within and outside the shores of Lokoja to celebrate with him.
It would be recalled that friends and team E-Bash had on Sunday organised a reception in his honoured to mark his birthday, Club 1901 Lokoja witnessed dignitaries from all walks of life who came to celebrate with the political leader of Kogi LG, Engr. Muhammed Abubakar Bashir Gegu.
