Kogi State Commissioner for Solid Mineral and Natural Resources, Engr. Muhammed Abubakar Bashir Gegu, has sent a congratulatory message to the Honourable Chief of Staff to Governor of Kogi State, Pharmacist Abdulkareem Muhammed Jamiu Asuku over the confirmation of Chieftaincy tittle of OGOCHI ATA-IGALA by His Royal Majesty, Mathew Opaluwa Alaji Oguche, the Attah Igala Kingdom, Kogi State.

In a message which was made available to Globaltimesnigeria.com on Wednesday in Lokoja, Kogi State capital, Engr. Bashir Gegu described the chief of Staff as a detribalised Nigerian who is always yearning and working for development of Kogi State.
The Solid Mineral Commissioner also said the Chief of Staff is a large kind hearted Nigerian who accommodate all irrespective of religion, ethnic background and political differences.
According to Kogi LG born political pundit, the Chief of Staff has touched many lives both in his native Okene, central districts and extended it across the nooks and crannies of the State.

Engr. Bashir Gegu asserted further that he was not surprised that such a befitting recognition came the way of Pharmacist Jamiu Asuku, noting that over the years, Governor Yahaya Bello’s Chief of Staff remained committed in his philanthropic gesture activities in areas of touching lives of downtrodden and granting scholarship to indigene students and beyond.
“By this singular recognition by His Majesty, I rejoice with you and pray that God will continue to keep you in good health iced with long life, so that your people, Kogi state and Nigeria in general will continue to benefit from your large heart.
“ It is worthy of note that you lifted so many people from abject poverty, you have trained thousands in school, while many widows and widowers are steadily benefiting from you, ” the message added.
In a similar development, the Solid Mineral Commissioner equally congratulated Alhaji Jibrin Momoh, the state Accountant General who was also conferred as the Amene Atta Igala Wali by HRM Mathew Opaluwa Alaji Oguche

He described Kogi AG as a golden fish that has no hidden place, even as he urged him not to relent serving humanity.
