The people of Ozugbe community in Girinya electoral ward, Koton-Karfe, Kogi local area of the State are celebrating yet another development attracted by a serving Commissioner for solid minerals and natural resources, Hon. Chief (Engr.) Muhammed Abubakar Bashir Gegu.
This is coming after the abandoned community mosque project got the attention of the Commissioner for onward action. They appreciated him for his numerous intervention ranging from scholarship grants to their students, youth and women empowerment, ensuring stable security architecture of their community, and other developmental strides.
In a lead of appreciation to the Commissioner for solid minerals and natural resources, Engr. Muhammed Abubakar Bashir Gegu, the Special Adviser on Security Matters in Kogi local government, Hon. Nasiru Musa Kutepa has thanked their leader for his usual benevolence and for being sensitive to the plight of their people.
“I lack words to express seeing this gentleman sacrificing his life for the sake of his people and humanity, I am a living witness to his numerous intervention.” Musa Nasir Kutepa declared.
Global Times Nigeria, reports that the Ozube community Central Masque has been abandoned due to a lack of funds to continue with the project, but as faithful as God is, the Commissioner got the report and immediately switch into action.
Engr. Bashir Gegu, who is the Madugu Gabas Daudu Girinya Chiefdom, has pledged to see to the completion of the mosque, even as materials has arrived the community with works commencing immediately.
Another source who spoke under condition of anonymity to Global Times Nigeria correspondent hinted that the serving Commissioner is a God sent to the people of Kogi LG owing to his numerous contributions to the development of the council. While thanking the Gegu-born grassroots politician, described his leadership as rare and unequaled in the history of the area.
The community leaders unequivocally join their young ones to offer special prayers for the success of Governor Yahaya Bello-led All Progressives Congress, APC, administration in the State and, thanked him for the confidence repose on their son whom they have been enjoying his leadership over the years.
