The Executive Chairman Toto local government council, Hon. Aliyu Abdullahi Tashas has urged students at all level to be more focus on their studies, saying such is a foundation laying that will propelled them for future engagement.
Tashas stated this on Saturday when he attended Egbira National Student Association (ENSA) Day, Nasarawa State University Keffi (NSUK) chapter, where he said there is need to support the present administration for focusing on how to empower youths, create opportunities for them and harness their strengths, creativity and ingenuity to rebuild the country.
The council boss noted that Governor Abdullahi Sule led All Progressives Congress, APC, in the State has made it easy for both youths and students to explore through various interventions ranging from youth empowerment, scholarship and other social programs and policies.
In a press release signed and issued by Yahaya Idris Toto, Senior Special Assistant, Media and Communications to the Executive Chairman of Toto LGC charged the students to used the opportunity to support the workable administration that has a better package for them.
“I’m urging all the students to proved themselves capable and diligent in their academics; and wherever they found themselves, Egbira are respected for their diligence and commitment. You must continue to preserve such honour and your creativity is concerned, they are not found wanting anywhere in the world.
Tashas commended the students for the support rendered to his administration and assured them of his open door policy.
In his usual magnanimity, the Executive Chairman donated 400,000 to support ENSA towards their push for education.
The event had in attendance Barrister Labaran Shuaibu Magaji, An APC Senatorial aspirant for Nasarawa West District, Nasarawa State Commissioner for Health, Pharm. Ahmed Baba Yahaya, Barrister Yakubu Galadima, representatives of other leaders among others.
