Ex- Kogi Governor, Alhaji Ibrahim Idris has expressed shock over the death of his former Head of Service, Yahaya Agbenyo.

The former Kogi Governor, Alhaji Ibrahim Idris in a statement in Abuja today said the news of the late seasoned civil servant was a great loss not only to the gala kingdom but to the Kogi state at large.

He described the contributions of the late statesman as crucial to the progress and development of the Kogi state.

The former Kogi Governor maintained that the late Head of Service to Kogi state built a robust civil service, lasting legacies, and professionals that made the state proud during his administration.

He sympathized with the family on the unfortunate incident of his death, praying for the repose of the soul of the late community leader, and highly placed personality in Kogi state.
