Former Senior Special Assistant to Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello on Print Media, Comrade Ademu Usman Idakwo has been conferred with the International Peace Award.

Idakwo a seasoned journalist and Certified Peace Builder by UNESCO International Institute for Capacity Building in Africa, IICBA.

The award dated 29th, June 2022 from one of the Prestigious Institutes in the Philippines, Royal Kutai Mulawarman Peace International Institute was the “ Honour and Excellence Award “.

Idakwo was also a former Chairman of Correspondents Chapel of Kogi State Council of Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ.

He is an astute journalist, a mobilizer, and a community person with records of selfless service both in public and private lives.

In a statement on his social media handles while reacting to the award said early hours of today being 1st July 2022, I woke up to receive a letter of award from one of the Prestigious Institutes in the Philippines, Royal Kutai Mulawarman Peace International Institute to have conferred on me an Honour and Excellence Award.

I consider this a rare privilege and I am grateful to the Constitutional Monarchy of Birland State for making this possible.

I sincerely appreciate this majestic.
