Former Kogi Governor, Alhaji Ibrahim Idris has sent a message of congratulations to the christian faithfuls on the successful completion of Lenten season, observation of holy week and good Friday that ushered in the Easter celebration.

In his message to mark the occasion, Alhaji Ibrahim Idris urges christians to demonstrate more sacrifices as part of the sacred lessons from the month long holy season.

He urged Christians to extend the lessons of this year’s easter season as an opportunity to manifest good will towards one another, and by extension other religious inclination.

He stressed the need to imbibe not only the lesson, but practice the sacrifices indulged by Jesus Christ, through the crucifixion and subsequent resurrection climaxing the celebration.

He wishes the christian faithfuls many more celebration in good health and sound economic growth of Nigeria.
