Former Kogi Governor, Alhaji Ibrahim Idris has been conferred as Waziri of Oranre land.
The installation ceremony which took place at an elaborate ceremony in the town hall on Saturday was witnessed by both government representatives, traditional rulers, Christian and Islamic leaders of the town that witnessed the occasion.
The former Kogi Governor has honored over his human, political and religious development while in government and many years after leaving office.
The former Governor’s large entourage and the reception of the people of the town was a testimony of his people-oriented leadership both in and out of office.
Responding, Alhaji Ibrahim Idris thanked the people of Orange land for considering him worthy of the honor, many years after leaving the saddle of leadership of the state, stating that anything worth doing, is worth doing well for the betterment of the society.
He pleaded with politicians and public officers to strive to leave a lasting legacy, saying nothing good goes without reward.
