Dr. Mike Onolememen CON, the Adolor of Uromi Kingdom, has condemned the gruesome killing of Rev. Father Osia who was reportedly kidnapped in Ikabigbo Community of Etsako West Local Government Area of Edo State on Sunday morning, with fellow Catholic Priest, Fr. Kelvin Ugwu confirming the killing in a post on his verified Facebook page on Sunday night.

The PDP Senate candidate for Edo Central, Edo State, described the killing as callous, heartless and cowardly in a statement made available to truthlive.net by one of his media persons, Mr Dele Elempe.

In the statement, he called on the Federal Government and security agents in the state to fish out and prosecute the perpetrators of the dastardly act immediately without delay.

The former Minister of Works said partly, “these killings are becoming too many and heartbreaking, some measure of serious and comprehensive investigation into these incidents of killings must be carried out so as to promptly arrest and prosecute the killers. The government and relevant security agents in the state must intensify efforts to put appropriate measures in place to forestall the recurrence of these callous and cowardly acts.

“My heartfelt condolences goes to his immediate family and the entire Catholic Church that have been thrown into mourning. May the Almighty Lord grant them the fortitude to bear the loss.”
