Ex-Minister, Pantami preaches love, support for needy as Nasarawa lawmaker, Oyanki marries Rukaiya in Abuja.
Former Minister of Communication and Digital Economy, Prof. Isa Ali Pantami, has urged wealthy individuals to assist the less privileged ones in order to improve on their standard of living as a result of fuel subsidy removal in the country.
Pantami stated this while presiding over the wedding Fatiha between Hon Muhammad Oyanki, member representing Doma North Constituency at the Nasarawa State House of Assembly and his wife, Rukaiya Abdullahi Shehu today Friday at Annur Mosque Abuja.
The Former Minister and Islamic Cleric tied the nuptial knot after pronouncements of N100,000 dowry and presentation of medical certificates.
He also urged Nigerians to pray fervently for God intervention to tackle the hardship currently facing in the country.
He prayed God to bless their marriage abundantly.
The Cleric congratulated Hon Oyanki and his wife and urged them to show love, patience, understanding and tolerance among other good qualities for their marriage to be successful.
Responding, the Groom, who is the Member representing Doma North Constituency at the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Hon Muhammad Oyanki appreciated God for making their dream became reality.
The lawmaker appreciated all those, who came from far and near to witness the wedding and prayed God to grant them journey mercies to their various destinations and reward them accordingly.
Besides, Oyanki assured the people of his constituency of better and quality representation at the state legislature.
It would be reported that Alhaji Ibrahim Abdullahi stood in as representative of the groom’s family while Retired Air Vice Marshall Abdullahi Shehu Isa stood in as a Respresentative of the bride’s family.
It would also be reported that Rt. Hon Abel Yakubu Bala, the Deputy Speaker of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly led other members to grace the event among other dignitaries just as praise singers also had field day.
