Ex-Nigerian minister, Ogah salutes Igwe Achebe at 82

Former minister of the federal republic of Nigeria, Dr Uchechukwu Sampson Ogah, has saluted Obi of Onitsha, His Majesty, Igwe Nnaemeka Alfred Achebe on the occasion of the celebration of his 82 birthday anniversary.

This was contained in a congratulatory message sent to the foremost igbo paramount traditional ruler on the auspicious occasion of his birthday anniversary.

Ogah noted Igwe Achebe has demonstrated uncommon trait and candour as royalty personified being a true descendant of Ezechima, the founding monarch of Onitsha Ado N’Idu with five hundred years of unbroken kingship, since his ascension to the prestigious throne in the last 21years as the 21st Obi of Onitsha.

According to him, “your majesty, your life has been eventful, spanning from your sound educational background and in public service.

“Your reign on the throne has been legendary as a fountain of inspiration to us and generation yet unborn.

“I cherish in no small measure your fatherly and royal counsel to me each time i call,”he stated.

While describing Achebe as a cerebral custodian of igbo culture and tradition, a true statesman and nationalist, Dr Ogah, who also a former A Gubernatorial candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Abia state, felicitated with Igwe Nnaemeka Achebe on the occasion of his 82 birthday celebration.

He also prayed to almighty God to grant eminent traditional ruler sound health and longevity to be peaceful and impactful to ndigbo, Nigeria and Africa at large.
