A former Senior Special Assistant to the Governor of Kogi State, Hon. Benjamin Ibrahim Amodu has commended the giants efforts of His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Yahaya Bello for ensuring renewed vigor for the health sector in Kogi State by establishment of reference hospital okene, renovation and remodeling of Kogi State Specialist Hospital, Lokoja, construction of general hospital, Gegu Beki, Construction of modern facility at Prince Abubakar Audu University Teaching Hospital, Ayigba, renovation of Idah Specialist Hospital, Idah , ongoing construction of fly over at ganaja junction, Lokoja, construction of modern secondary school across the state among others.
Amodu made the commendation in Abuja while addressing confluence trust newspaper correspondence shortly after the Governor pick normination form to contest for president Federal Repblic of Nigeria in the 2023 presidential election at the APC Secretariat, Abuja, stressing that, the Governor of Kogi State is the first among aspirants to pick his form as being demonstrated as the best award winning Governor on Security, Health, Youths and Women Empowerment among others.
Amodu who hails from Igala-mela Odolu Local Government area of the state appealed to Nigerians, most expecially the All Progressives Congress (APC) delegates to vote for Governor Yahaya Bello candidacy to right some wrong in the present system most importantly, in the area of security, unity as the Governor is ready to unify all tribes and bring about peace and rapid development as demonstrated by his excellent perform ance in Kogi State for the benefits of all Nigerians.
