The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) chapter of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has mourned the death of party’s chieftain/ commissioner for Revenue Mobilization Allocation And Fiscal Commission (RMAFC) Alhaji Musa Tanko Abari.
Our correspondent learnt that the remains of late Abari, who passed away at the age of 68 years after a brief illness in Abuja, on Tuesday has been laid to rest according to Islamic rites.
A statement signed by the state APC Alhaji Usman Abdulmalik, and issued to newsmen by the party’s spokesman Engineer Usman Adaji, in Abuja on Wednesday, said the party was shocked and saddened over demised of the late commisioner.
He described the late RMAFC/APC chieftain as an active, committed and result-oriented as well as die-hard member of the ruling APC in the FCT.
He said the death of the late APC chieftain was not only a great loss to the family, party but entire FCT, saying the Abari was one of the pillars of the APC in the FCT that had remained committed to the growth of the party down to the grassroot.
“The death of the late Musa Tanko Abari, a chieftain of our great party APC who was a commissioner of RMAFC was indeed a huge loss to the entire APC family in the FCT,” he said.
He prayed for Almighty Allah for the soul of the deceased rest in peace and grant the entire family the fortitude to bear the irreparable lost.
