FCT APC senatorial candidate, council chair condoles Reps member, Sokodabo over brother’s death.
The chairman Gwagwalada area council, Alhaji Abubakar Jibrin Giri, on Tuesday, commiserated with the incumbent member of the federal house of representatives for Abuja south, Hon Hassan Usman Sokodabo, over the death of his elder brother, late Alhaji Musa Sokodabo.
Our correspondent report that late Sokodabo who died at the age of 86 years at a private hospital in Abuja, on Monday, afternoon after a protracted illness.
The deceased remains was convened to Abaji and buried according to Islamic rites.
However, the Gwagwalada council chairman, expressed sadness over the demised of the deceased, saying he was heartbroken when he receive the sad news of the demise of the elder statesman, late Alhaji Musa Sokodabo.
He said Abaji Area council had lost humble personalities whose wealth of experience and lifestyle were needed to model and counselling not only in the council alone but across the FCT.
He prayed for the soul of the deceased to rest in peace, while praying for God to also give the entire Sokodabo family the fortitude to bear the irreparable lost.
Also, Alhaji Zakari Angulu, the APC senatorial candidate in the FCT, said ” with total submission to the will of Allah, we lost elder statesman, late Alhaji Musa was an epitome of humility and a community leader with a passion.
He prayed for Allah to forgive the deceased shortcomings and grant him Aljannatu firdau’s,even as he urged the family to continue to pray for the deceased.
Among dignitaries in the entourage of the FCT APC senatorial candidate included the APC house of representatives candidate for Abuja south, Alhaji Abdulrahman Ajiya as well as APC chairman in Gwagwalada and some party chieftains.
