FCT Minister condoles NUT chairman over wife’s death

The Federal Capital Territory Minister, Muhammad Musa Bello, has commiserated with the state chairman of the Nigerian Union of Teachers (NUT) in the FCT, Comrade Stephen Knabayi, over the demised of his wife, Mrs Christiana Stephen Knabayi.

Our correspondent had reported that late Mrs Knabayi died on Sunday, at the age of 56 years at Abuja national hospital, after a brief illness.

The Minister, was represented by the FCT permanent secretary, Mr Adeshola Olusade, who led delegation of officials and directors of the FCT UBEB, paid the condolence visit to the NUT chairman’s residence in Kuje, on Tuesday.

The minister, urged the deceased husband to see the death as natural and accept it in good faith, saying death is inevitable that every soul must test.

He added that death is a one way traffic, while praying for God to give the family the fortitude to bear the irreparable lost.

Responding, Mr Bulus Dauda, while responding on behalf of the family, appreciated the FCT minister for sending delegation to come and condole with the family of the late wife of the NUT state Chairman.

He noted that the delegations condolence visit was a clear demonstration that the minister was true leader.

Our reporter learnt that the burial of late of Mrs Christiana Knabayi, who was survived by four children will take place on Saturday, in Kuje, Abuja.
