FCT minister pledges support for Youth Network and urge credible election.

The minister of state for Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Hajiya Ramatu Tijjani Aliyu, has commended the executive director of the Abuja Original Inhabitants Youth Empowerment Organization (AOIYEO) Commandant Isaac David, for creating a platform, the FCT Youth Network in the territory.

Aliyu, made the commendation when commandant Isaac, led the management team of AIOIYEO and aspirants of the youth network on a courtesy call to her residence in Abuja, on Thursday.

She, however, endorsed the youth network and also urged members of the electoral committee to ensure a free, fair, and credible election slated for Saturday, July 30, 2022, in Gwagwalada, Abuja.

She said she was overwhelmed by the initiative of the executive director of AOIYEO for creating the youth network, saying such a platform will bring the youth of the FCT together and always speak in one voice.

According to her, the youth network platform will add value to the vision and the mission of the entire youth of the FCT, especially when struggling for the right and privileges of the good people of the territory.

” And I want to assure you that the FCT administration has endorsed the youth network and will also support whoever emerges as FCT youth leader of the network,” she assured.

Earlier, the executive director AIOIYEO Commandant Isaac David, informed the minister that he led the aspirants vying for various positions under the FCT youth network to formally introduce them and also seek her endorsement of your network.

He said the youth network would stand as a voice and intermediary between the youths of FCT and the government in terms of the rights of Original Inhabitants.

Commandant Isaac, therefore, appreciated the minister for endorsing the FCT youth network, while assuring her a free level playing ground for all aspirants vying for various elective positions during the Saturday election.
