FCT Minister seeks more funds to complete priority projects.

The FCT minister, Malam Muhammad Musa Bello has appealed for more funds to enable the administration to complete its numerous priority projects.

Bello, who appeared during the second day of the oversight tour of FCT projects by the senate committee the FCT, even as he also expressed appreciation for the support the committee has given the administration over time.

He said that the FCT administration was placing a lot of emphasis on the completion of many projects as possible.

“As we round up this administration, our efforts are to complete as many projects as possible based on prioritization, according to the funds available,” he said.

He said the FCT administration will succeed in doing so with the support of the committee, even as he said the administration is thinking of alternative sources of funding so that some of the critical projects that are time-bound will be completed within the stipulated period.

He further stated that the past two days of the oversight project tour concentrated only on a few projects within the city, such as roads and water projects.

The minister, however, pointed out that the FCT administration was also executing several projects in the satellite towns, which he said covered roads, water, and power.
