FCT Polls: 102 APC Members Dumps APC For PDP, Obtains Membership Cards In Kuje.

About 102 cards carrying members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) at Anguwar Gede, in Kuje central ward of the council has defected to the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and were issued the party’s membership card in the area.
Global Times Nigeria, report that the FCT, INEC had fixed February 22, 2022, for chairmanship and councillorship elections across the six area councils.
Speaking on behalf of the defectors at a ceremony in Kuje on Sunday, Babangida Gami, said he led other strong members of APC to PDP because of the giant strides of the current performance of PDP led adminstration of the council under Abdullahi Suleiman Sabo.
He said the present PDP led administration has been able to provide more viable infrastructural development across the council, which he said was one the major reason they decided to join ruling PDP in the area.
“And it’s very obvious that the achievements of the present PDP led adminstration under Abdullahi Suleiman Sabo, has no doubt supersede that of his predecessors, which is one our major reason for us to join the PDP in order to move Kuje to a greater heights,” he said.

The Kuje PDP central ward chairman, Abdullahi Muhammad, while presenting the party’s membership cards to the defectors, commended them for their courage and for taken such a bold step to defect to the PDP in the area.

rman in Kuje, Alhaji Ismaila Mohammed Yenche, who received the defectors, called on party members to accept the defectors as full members of the people’s democratic party (PDP) in the council, stressing that the party has an open door policy that allows new members to enjoy full equal rights and benefits.

He advised those who still have the intention of decamping to the largest party in Africa not to hesitate to join immediately as the doors and windows are widely open.
