FCT Polls: Gwagwalada APC chairmanship Deserves Our Support – Angulu Dobi
The leader of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Hon Zakari Angulu Dobi, said the chairmanship candidate of the party for the February 12, 2022 election in Gwagwalada area council, Alhaji Abubakar Jibrin Giri, deserving of every individual across the council to be voted for during the forthcoming election in the area.
Hon Dobi, who is the mandate secretary for Transportation of the FCT administration, stated during a campaign rally which witnessed mammoth at the popular Zuba, fruit market on Wednesday.
He said the APC chairmanship candidate, who has served one term in office as chairman of the council, already knows the challenges facing the good people of the Gwagwalada area council, hence, he will tackle such challenges headlong when given the mandate.
He, therefore, commended members of the fruit market as well as supporters for their support for the party’s chairmanship candidate, while urging them to ensure they come out en-mass and vote for him.
Also speaking, the chairman of Zuba fruit market, Alhaji Ibrahim Talba, while welcoming the leadership of the FCT state APC party, stated that there was no doubt that the development of the party’s chairmanship candidate and the society rest in the hands of an eloquent and intelligent man like Hon Abubakar Jibrin Giri, whom he said has a wonderful charisma and competent to deliver.
“And I must confess that If there is any credible candidate that feels the pulse of Gwagwalada, women, elders, and youths he is nobody other than Hon Abubakar Jibrin Giri, he deserves our mandate as chairman of Gwagwalada Area Council, come February 12, 2022, God willing,” he said.
According to him, the APC chairmanship candidate in the Gwagwalada area council for the February 12, 2022 election, Hon Abubakar Jibrin Giri, is a man with a genuine heart and the zeal to transform Gwagwalada and entire communities at large.

” Even during his first tenure when he was in office, we are living witness to his radical transformation. He is a man of integrity, humble, caring, and easily accessible to the masses as we shall rally around behind to ensure that he emerge victorious during the forthcoming election,” he added.
In his remarks, the state chairman of APC in the FCT, Alh Abdulmalik Usman, The APC FCT state Chairman, said the party’s chairmanship candidate, Hon Abubakar Jibrin Giri has sufficiently demonstrated and established capacity to win elections and carry the entire environs along in governance.
He said the candidate has the practical and common sense to anchor a strong philosophy and principles that can regain the lost glory of the Gwagwalada area council while urging supporters and members of the party to come out en mass to vote for the candidate during the forthcoming election in the area.
On his part, the APC chairmanship candidate in the area, Hon Abubakar Jibrin thanked members of the Zuba fruit market for declaring their support for him, while he also appreciated the mammoth crowd to witness the event.
He assured that his administration shall top priority to infrastructural development that will impact on the lives of the entire good people of Gwagwalada area council as he did in the past.
