Senator Philip Aduda representing the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) has received his clearance certificate after his successful clearance by the screening committee of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Abuja.
Senator Aduda, was accompanied to the national secretariat of the party at Wadata plaza, Wuse Zone 4 screening venue in Abuja, on Wednesday, by the state FCT PDP chairman, Sunday Zakka, his senior special assistant on special duties, Samuel Danjuma Shekwolo, the FCT commissioner for Public Complaints Commission (PCC) Ezikel Musa Dalhattu and some of his aides.

Speaking shortly after he was presented with his certificate, Senator Aduda, reiterated his determination to continue to give priority to wellbeing of the good people of the FCT.
He added that he will continue to ensure that the rights and privileges of the people of the territory are always protected through legislation, adding that his desire to go to back to the senate in 2023 was to continue with the good work he has doing for the people of the FCT.
Senator Aduda, however, harped on peaceful coexistence among the people of the territory irrespective of tribe, religious, political or ethnic affiliations, while calling on residents to continue to support the government to overcome the current security challenge in the FCT and Nigeria at large.
Also speaking, the FCT commissioner for Public Complaints Commission (PCC), Ezikel Musa Dalhattu, said the achievements of Senator Philip Aduda, since his assumption to the national assembly has surpassed that of his predecessors, hence, there was the need for him to be reelected to the senate in 2023 so that he can continue with his good work.
He said senator Aduda has performed creditably well interms of rural infrastructures, youths and women empowerment, saying the best way was for the youths to appreciate is by coming out enmass to vote massively for Senator Aduda in 2023 FCT senatorial election.
“The achievements of Senator Philip Aduda is unprecedented, hence, there was the need for the good people of the FCT especially the youth to come out in their large numbers to vote massively for him come 2023,” he said.
Our correspondent report that among those that were also screened by the PDP screening committee were the incumbent chairman of Gwagwalada area council, Alhaji Adamu Mustapha, who is contesting for the house of representatives for Abuja south federal constituency.
Other PDP aspirants that also screened are former chairman of Kwali area council, Hon Ibrahim Daniel, who is contesting for house of representatives for Abuja south and incumbent house of representatives for AMAC/Bwari federal constituency, Hon Micah Jiba.
