Flood: Wife of Kogi West APC Senatorial candidate Stella Karimi doled out relief materials to victims.

The Wife of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Senatorial flagbearer due for Kogi West District, Stella Sunday Karimi has distributed food items worth millions of naira in Koton-Karfe and Lokoja local government areas of the State.

Addressing floods victims at their various Internally Display Persons (IDPs) camps in Lokoja and Kogi-Koton-karfe LGAs, Stella Sunday Karimi said she was touched by the agony the victims was subjected as occasion by devastating flood which inform her decision to donate food items and some money as part of efforts to reduced their pains.

“We are here to sympathize with you over what you’re passing through, and to also donate some food and money to ameliorate your pains.”

She appreciate State, Federal Governments, corporate organisations and well to do Kogites and Nigerians for their wonderful contributions, adding that such gestures will go along way complimenting government efforts.

Mrs Karimi reminded the victims that both State and FG governments are working day and night to bring an end to recurring disastrous flooding in Nigeria and Kogi in particular.

Community leaders and flood victims commended the wife of Kogi west district hopeful Senator for coming down to shares their pains and prayed to God to grant her heart desires.

Also speaking the two Executive chairmen, Hon. Mohammed Dan’asebe Mohammed Lokoja and Hon. Aliyu Dauda thanked the donor for considering their people for her largesse even as they promised to mobilised electorate for vote her husband in the upcoming 2023 elections.
