Former Oyo state governor Abiola Ajimobi has been reported dead at the age of 70 years.
Ajimobi who has been in coma and on life support for some days after a surgery passed away at the First Cardiology Hospital, Ikoyi, Lagos.
It was also reported that the late Senator Ajimobi, was being treated for COVID-19 complications and was said to have been totally unconscious since last Thursday after his organs totally collapsed.
A family source disclosed that the former governor’s organs collapsed about a week ago.
The former governor was rumoured to have died last week but his aides and family members denounced the report asking Nigerians to pray for his recovery.
