Former SDP Guber Candidate, Ishaq Kana Defect To APC In Nasarawa

The former gubernatorial candidate of Social Democratic Party (SDP), Hon. Ishaq Ahmed Kana have joined All Progressives Congress, APC, in Nasarawa State.

The defection was formally announced when he presented his letter of return to Mr Adamu Musa, the APC Chairman of his electoral ward, Koya of Kokona LGA in companied of the APC State Assistant Legal Adviser of Nasarawa State from the same Koya electoral ward, Comr Idris Ojoko.

Ishaq Kanq said performances and developmental milestones of President Muhammadu Buhari and the Executive Governor of the State, Engr Abdullahi A. Sule Nigeria and Nasarawa State informed his decision to return to the party.

Kana was a former member that represented Kokona West Constituency at the Nasarawa State House of Assembly between 2007 to 2011.

He also represented the good people of Keffi, Karu and Kokona Federal Constituency at the National Assembly, Abuja between 2011 to 2015. He however lost at the primary election in a bid to contest for the Senate, Nasarawa West Senatorial District during the preparation for the 2015 general elections.

He was also a former DG Protocol to former Governor of Nasarawa State, Sen. Abdullahi Adamu.
