Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, has counselled the Chairman Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Kogi State Council, Comrade Adeiza Momohjimoh to take heart and bear the irreparable loss of his wife Amirat Zainab.
Governor Bello gave the advice on Saturday when he paid a condolence visit to the Adeiza MomohJimoh family in Lokoja following the death of Amirat Zainab MomohJimoh.
He urged the NUJ Chairman to take solace in God as only Him gives life and takes when He wishes, and therefore implored him to leave everything to God in order to take good care of his children and other dependants.
The Governor who described death as a necessary end for all mortal urged the NUJ Chairman not to allow the death of his wife to weigh him down.
He pointed out that death is inevitable, saying it would always come, but as mortals no body knows when it would come.

The Governor who said he was told of the illness of Late Mallama Zainab Adeiza MomohJimoh, disclosed that his personal physician was directed to Intervene with the view to bear all the expenses, but expressed sadness that she didn’t survive it.
Bello however regrets that after his directive to refer the deceased to the Reference Hospital, Okene to be the first patient to undergo such a surgery.
He said her death was one too many, urging the family to take solace in the fact that the late Mallama Zainab Adeiza MomohJimoh, lived a fulfilled life.
Responding, the NUJ Chairman, Comr. Adeiza Momohjimoh said the visit of the Governor, has elicited his spirit to recover from the despondency over the death of his wife, whom he described as not only a wife but a mother.

The Chief of Staff to the Governor, Pharm Abdulkareem Jamiu Asuku, offered prayers for the peaceful repose of the soul of the deceased, and for the mourning family she left behind.
The All Progressives Congress, APC, State Chairman, Alhaji Abdullahi Bello and the Special Assistant Media to the Governor, Dr. Yemi Kolapo were part of the Governor’s delegation.
