Gov Bello’s Aide, Prince Tony Obaro rejoice with Kogi APC guber candidate, Ododo on supreme court victory

Following the judgement of the Supreme Court affirming Kogi State All Progressives Congress, APC, Governorship candidate, Alhaji Usman Ahmed Ododo as true winner of parry’s primary election in the State.

The Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to the Governor of Kogi State on ” Youth In Agriculture, Prince Tony Obaro, has congratulated Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo for his resounding victory at the supreme court.

The Prince Obaro said the party’s victory signal a clear reflection of what would happen in the November 11 election in the State

Global Times Nigeria reports that the apex court of the land had on Monday, dismissed an appeal filed by Senator Smart Adeyemi against the nomination of Mr. Ahmed Usman Ododo which was earlier affirmed by the two lower courts.

It would be recalled that Kogi State All Progressives Congress, APC, Governorship primary election held in April 15, 2023 and produced Ahmed Usman Ododo as duly elected by the majority of the delegates across the 21 local government areas of the State.

Adeyemi, who represented Kogi West Senatorial District in the 9th Assembly, had filed a suit at the Federal High Court seeking to nullify the primary election of the APC, which produced Usman Ododo as the party’s flagbearer for the state’s governorship election slated for November 11.

The case was however, dismissed by both the Federal High Court and the Court of Appeal for lacking in merit.

The Supreme Court, in a unanimous judgement, held that the appeal lacked merit, having failed to challenge the concurrent findings of both the High and Appeal Courts, or demonstrate that same were perverse.

Reacting to the judgement, an APC chieftain and Senior Special Assistant, SSA, to the Governor of Kogi State on Youth in Agriculture,
Prince Tony Obaro hailed the judgement and described judiciary as last hope for the common man.

According to Hon Prince Tony Obaro, the supreme court rulings is the final stage of all litigations against the God chosen candidate and by God grace the successor of his mentor and benefactor (GYB).

“Whoever God has blessed, let no man caused “. He called on all meaningful kogites , irrespective of our party differences and ethnicity divides, to rally round the God anointed candidacy of Alh. Ododo Ahmed Usman ( OAU) to ensure total victory in the forth coming election slated for November 11th 2023 . .

Hon Prince Tony Obaro ( Hon PTO) said the Youths in Agriculture across the nooks and cranny in Kogi State,has resolved to work and mobilize massively, towards the victory at the November 2023 polls.
