…..as he Begin Commissioning of Projects across Kogi State

The Grand Patron of Shuaibu Abubakar Audu Foundation, SAAF, Alhaji (Prince) Shuaibu Abubakar Audu has embarked on a commissioning of projects across the three senatorial districts of Kogi State and has paid a visit to the Obaro of Kabba, HRM. Oba Solomon Dele Awoniyi.

Speaking during the visit to the Oba of Kabba, the Grand Patron of the foundation explained that the essence of the visit was to intimate the traditional ruler on the aims, objectives and Agenda of the Foundation which focuses on critical infrastructure development such as Health, Education and therefore making life more meaningful to the people of Kogi State.

In his words “I have great respect for the traditional rulers because of your role as the Community Leaders that are connected and closer to the people. For this reason, the my foundation seeks your support in all government programmes and agenda in making Kogi a better place for us all”.

“I have listen to people and heard and seen what they’re passing through, which is why my foundation approved this visit to intimate you and carry you along with the developmental agenda for our people as well as get your input. As the traditional institution is familiar terrain and I will always appreciate your contributions to the development of our great State”, he added.

Prince Shuaibu Audu is one of sons of the first and second Executive Governor of Kogi State, Prince Abubakar Audu averred that his foundation accorded great importance to the role of traditional ruler in the society as great influencers and mobilizers which necessitated the visit, adding that the visit was also to intimate them about the development agenda of his foundation and seek their support on all programmes initiated.

Also speaking, the United Nations (UN) Special Envoy, Mr. Phillip Bonn Africa Edward says he was specifically in Africa, Nigeria and Kogi to partner with Alhaji Shuaibu Abubakar Audu Foundation for more development to thrive.

He appreciated Obaro of Kabba for the hospitality accorded their team and assured of more patronage.

On his part, the Oba of Kabba, HRM. Oba Solomon Dele Awoniyi, responded that traditional rulers are solidly behind any developmental incline persons, organisations or groups and would join hands with such persons for a successful programs.

While describing the visitation as very strategic and a sign of the importance which the Shuaibu Abubakar Audu attached to the institution of traditional rulers ans called on other well to do Kogitee and Nigerians the system adopted Shuaibu Audu Foundation.

Those who attended the event includes, Chairman of the foundation, Prince Daniel Idoko Ogacheko, and his team, supporters, and well-wishers across the three senatorial districts of the State.

The occasion also features dancing and music by the palace cultural troupe who were in their colorful costumes entertaining their August visitors.

Global Times Nigeria reports that Alhaji Shuaibu and his team have since headed to Mopa Muro Local Government Area in the western region where the renovated Universal Basic Education primary is expected to be commissioned by the Grand Patron of the foundation.
