Guber race: Rep James Faleke disappointed us with his tribal politicking in Kogi —- Kogi Youth Agenda

Youths in Kogi State has expressed deep disappointment with the utterances credited to a federal lawmaker, Hon James Faleke representing Ikeja constituency of Lagos State.

Hon. James Faleke who earlier indicated interest to run for governorship election but however withdrew from the race now championing the cause of Kogi West/Okun agenda forgotten other zones who are also eligible to contest.

Reacting to the statement, President Kogi Youth Agenda, Comr. AK Saliu, Secretary Comr. Emeje Joshua and Diaspora Coordinator Mohammed Jemilu at a press briefing on Monday expressed total disatisfaction with the way and manner Rep Faleke is going about Kogi politics without considering other options.

The group said if Faleke was so serious about serving Kogi people why is he still representing a constituency in Lagos?, even as they accused him of playing lip service or doing it to bring the State backwards

“Faleke is not serious politician, we all knew what he want as he is head bent in turning Kogi State an Okun State.”

“He has openly shows us his direction as  one championing the cause of regional leadership.”

“We wish to use this medium to call him to order and allow the State decide who serve them after the present administration”.

Global Times Nigeria reports that Hon James Faleke was accused of massively involved in anti-party activities in the concluded general elections where he reportedly worked for Africa Democratic Party, ADC, in Kogi West Senatorial District.

The leadership of Kogi Youth Agenda also commended Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello for his sincere commitment towards providing leadership, governance, peace and security in the last seven years.

The group however appealed to Governor Yahaya Bello to support his Deputy, Chief Edward David Onoja having shown capacity and commitment over the years.

“Chief Onoja is your true continuity and will consolidate on your achievement if elected as next Governor of Kogi State.”
