History Made as Prince Mustapha Mona Audu Unveils ADOJA – An Electric Vehicle Invented by His Company + (Video)

Another history has been created as a Kogi-born Prince, Mustapha Mona Audu unveils ADOJA, an Electric powered Vehicle invented by his Company, Electric Motor Vehicle Company of Nigeria.

The unveiling ceremony, which was conducted at the Palace of the Attah of Igala Kingdom, HRM, Matthew Alaji Opaluwa Oguche Akpa (II) in Idah Local Government Area of Kogi State, had dignitaries from all walks of life, women and youths from within and outside the Area trooped out in their numbers to attend the ceremony and also poured encomium on Prince Mustapha Mona Audu for making them proud.

Speaking at the event, the Attah of Igala Kingdom and President, Kogi State Council of Chiefs, HRM, Matthew Alaji Opaluwa Oguche Akpa (II), appreciated God for blessing the Kingdom with innovative sons and daughters, describing the newly invented Electric Vehicle as the first of it’s kind in the history of the African race.

The Paramount ruler prayed God to continue to bless Prince Mustapha Mona Audu with more wisdom to enable him provide more solutions to issues through technology.

“Today is an epoch making event as a young enterprising and multi-talented son of the Kingdom, Mustapha Mona Audu unveils his newly invented Electric powered Vehicle at my Palace here in Idah

“Mona, you have done us proud through this, it is my prayer that God almighty will continue to be with you and guide you in all your ways” he said.

In his Goodwill Message, the Emir of Keffi – Nasarawa State, HRH Alhaji Shehu Yamusa III, who was represented by the Sadauna of Keffi, commended Prince Mustapha Mona Audu for brightening the ray of hope for the manufacturing industry, describing the newly invented Electric Vehicle as a welcomed development.

The traditional ruler calls for more encouragement to enable Prince Mona move forward in his efforts at providing solutions to issues through innovative means.

Similarly, the Kogi State Commissioner for Culture and Tourism, Hon. Salifu Isah Idachaba, in his Goodwill Message, pointed out that providing solutions to the pressing needs of the populace through new invention was important in today’s world, while commending Prince Mustapha Mona Audu for his efforts.

Hon. Idachaba called on youths in the State to always put their fresh innovative minds to good use, stressing that there are several challenges yarning for solutions through new inventions.

He appreciated the State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello for creating enabling environment for businesses and innovations such as the ADOJA Electric Vehicle to thrive in the State, describing him as a visionary leader whose disposition will transform Nigeria’s fortune come 2023.

The Commissioner lauded the efforts of the Governor at ensuring tight security across all nooks and crannies of Kogi State, calling on Nigerians to support Governor Bello’s Presidential bid to enable him succeed.

“It gladdens my heart that I am a part of this epoch ceremony which is the unveiling of an Electric Vehicle, which is the first of it’s kind in the history of Nigeria and the African Continent

“Having an Electric Car at a period where fuel scarcity was becoming the order of the day in the Country, is a commendable effort

“To the inventor, Prince Mustapha Mona Audu, I say a big thank you for thinking out of the box. You have made Igala Nations proud, you have made Kogites and the entire Country proud as well, keep up the good works

“This is just the beginning of a new dawn, we will yet celebrate greater innovations in the years ahead, once again, congratulations”

In his remark, the Chief Executive Officer of Electric Motor Vehicle Company of Nigeria, Prince Mustapha Mona Audu, said the newly invented Electric Vehicle, ADOJA was borne out of his passion to provide an alternative to fuel powered vehicles.

Prince Mona pointed out that the Nigerian made Electric Vehicle has scaled through all the necessary requirement and has been certified, stressing that it will go a long way at serving users better.

The CEO pointed out that motor cycles and tricycles are other products that are electrically powered invented by his Company, assuring that the Products will serve Nigerians and other parts of the world better.

He appreciated the Attah of Igala Kingdom, HRM, Matthew Alaji Opaluwa Oguche Akpa (II) for his fatherly role and for holding the kingdom together at all times, praying God to continue to grant him more wisdom to pilot the affairs of his subjects.

Prince Mustapha Mona Audu commended the efforts of the State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello at ensuring adequate security in the State and for giving youths opportunity to serve in his government.

While appreciating the people for their show of love towards him and his family, he promised to continue to do his best at contributing his quota to the development of his immediate Community, his Constituency, Igala land, Kogi State, Country and the world at large through new innovation.

Highlights of the event was a minute silence in honour of his deceased father and former Governor of Kogi State, Prince Abubakar Audu, Presentation of an ADOJA Electric Vehicle Key to the Attah of Igala Kingdom, HRM Matthew Alaji Opaluwa Oguche Akpa (II), test run of the Vehicle and musical performance by a renown artiste, TJ Bala, among others.

Present at the event were other Traditional Rulers, Former Commissioner for Culture and Tourism, Hon. Arome Adoji, among other dignitaries.
