Hon. Asuku Bello Condoles With Family Of Bello Balogun, Commiserates with Kogi State House of Assembly

The Lawmaker representing Adavi/Okehi Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Joseph Asuku Bello expressed sadness over the passing away of the deceased while describing Late Balogun as a disciplined and loving leader in Kogi Central.

The Funeral which took place at his Residential house in GRA in Okene LG on Wednesday 24th June 2020, was attended by Alhaji Saka, Habeeb as well as other Aides and supporters of Hon. Joseph Asuku Bello (JAB) who represented the Honourable at the burial ceremony that was done according to Muslim rites in compliance with approved Covid-19 protocols.

The late Hon. Balogun, the father of the current majority leader of Kogi State House of Assembly, Hon. Abdullahi Bello Balogun was a community leader and elder statesman, who had served the people of Ajaokuta Local Government and Kogi State at various capacity.

Hon. Hassan Balogun was said to have passed on at the early hours of 24th June, 2020 after a brief illness.

Hon. Asuku Bello, in his statement, noted that the statesman would be remembered for his attention to details, accommodating heart, glamour and visibility as a leader.

“His reputation as a stickler for excellence was felt in every area he served. The death of Hon. Balogun is painful, but we take solace in the good life that he spent on earth”, he added.

Hon. Asuku Bello commiserated with the majority leader of Kogi State House of Assembly, Hon. Abdullahi Hassan Balogun, the family of the deceased as well as the people and government of Ajaokuta LGA, and Kogi State for the loss on behalf of the people of Adavi/Okehi.

He prayed to God to grant the departed soul a place among the righteous ones in heaven while giving his family and loved ones, the fortitude to bear the loss.
