Kogi State Chairman of the governing All Progressives Congress, Alhaji Abdullahi Bello (Dollar) has taken a critical assessment of the ongoing historic Igu/Koton-karfe fishing and cultural festival.
Abdullahi Bello was spotted at the ancient town of Koton-care, headquarters of the Kogi local government area for the pre-Igu/Koton-large fishing/cultural festival which commenced today 30th March 2022, and is expected to end on 1st April.
The party chieftain hailed the wife of the Governor, Hajiya Rashidat Bello for taking over the sponsorship of the annual Igu fishing/cultural festival, stating that the gesture will in the nearest future make Igu fishing festival compete favorably with the Argugu fishing festival in Kebbi State.
Abdullahi Bello assured of the readiness of the present administration’s enormous support to the Igu fishing festival to fast-track local, national, and international investments.
He congratulated the people of Koton-Karfe, Kogi LG for having a committed son in the person of Hon. Barr. Muhammed Tanko Musa whose aims were all about the development of the area.
“Barr. Tanko is a silent achiever, he is a transformer who is widely known for excellent services as required by his people”.
Similarly, while fielding questions from Newsmen at Dumez, the venue for the ongoing Igu/Koton-karfe fishing and cultural festival, the state Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, said with the emergence of the National executives to run the party affairs, it’s now obvious that all candidates of the party will win convincingly all available positions during the 2023 elections in the country
Bello Congratulated newly elected national officers for their overwhelmed political successes recorded at the convention and expressed explicit confidence that the new leadership of the party under the watch of Senator Adamu Abdullahi would bring their knowledge and experiences to bear for the success of the party in the future outings.
He said the just-concluded National convention of the party which went hitch-free before, during, and after was a result of the security architecture provided by the indefatigable and the political leader of Kogi state, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, the Executive Governor of Kogi State.
He, therefore, urged Nigerians of all creed to rallies support towards the emergence of Alhaji Yahaya Bello in the 2023 presidential election to enable him to consolidate on the gains achieved by President Muhammadu Buhari-led administration.
