Following today Local Government Council Election, The All Progressives Congress, APC in Unit 1, Ward 9 in Urhoka Community, Abraka in Ethiope-East Local Government Area of Delta State backed out of the local government elections in the area.
An APC Chieftain, Mr. Akpokiniovo Edwin disclosed this in a telephone chat with newsmen in Abraka.

According to him, “We cannot go ahead with the elections. At the end of the day, the result will be collated despite using result sheets and the results will be declared. As it is now, no election result sheets, no elections.”
The APC faithful who applied diplomacy in their actions asked the DSIEC officials who didn’t come down from their vehicle to return to their office.
