The Proprietor of Shiv India Institute of Management and Technology, Doctor Raju Dinkar Sonavane says a technologically based society could assist in solving contemporary issues affecting third world nation.

Doctor Sonavane stated this in a paper presentation during the celebration of the Kogi State Chapter of the National Association of Proprietors of Private Schools (NAPPS)’ day in Lokoja.

He said forty five percent of Indian’s economy is rested on information communication technology noting that the development has placed the nation on the world map in the aspect of security, information dissemination, medicine and other aspects of human endeavours.

Doctor Sonavane said Nigeria needs more educated people to build a strong economy emphasising that the vast majority that are uneducated are easily manipulated in the aspect of choices and decisions that are germane to the growth and development of the nation.

He explained that SIIMT in Ghana has a robust package for prospective candidates including international students for transfer of knowledge.

According to him, the school is currently offering four years degree course in ICT noting that international students can access fifty percent scholarship, fifty percent cash back on Airfare on the first registration and appealed to NAPPS to facilitate the platform to attract more students.

While expressing appreciation to NAPPS for considering him during the award presentation, Doctor. Sonavane promised to maintain good relationship with NAPPS for mutual benefits.
