The Onu Ankpa, Alhaji Abdulmalik Umar has saluted the foresight and achievements of the late legal luminary and first Northern Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Alhaji Abdullahi Ibrahim over the convening of Ankpa Development Support Group that had brought all shades of development in the area.

The monarch stated this during the presentation of car keys to security agencies in the area on Saturday at Ankpa local government headquarters to facilitate the protection of lives and properties.

He says the legacies of the late legal icon was adorned in all areas of development, including the fragile security situations in the area.

He challenged prominent Ankpa citizens not to allow the good riddance and virtues of the former Minister of Justice to die in vain, in view of the renewed onslaught of criminal elements in Ankpa local government and it’s environs.

He decried the continuous threat to peace in the area inspite of huge investments of stakeholders in the area, advising for renewed vigour to tackle the menace.

His Royal Highness commended the indigenes of the area for the donation of the vehicles, saying it will go a long way to address the threat of criminals and criminalities in the communities.

The royal father expressed worries over the unabated security concerns to lives and properties in the area, urging the security agencies to go extra mile to addressing the current situations.

The monarch expressed confidence that with continuous and concerted efforts , the issues of insecurity will become a thing of the past.

He urged the people to rally round the stakeholders, saying the issue of security concerns is the business of all.
