Jubilation in Kogi Central as Shuaibu Abubakar Audu rehabilitate a dilapidated School

For Alhaji Shuaibu Abubakar Audu, development of all kind and relentless struggle for a better society has been his hallmark just like his late father and former governor of Kogi State, Prince Abubakar Audu who contributed immensely while alive to the people of the State.

The young Audu is on weeklong tour to commission projects embark by his foundation as part of efforts provide conducive environment and compliment government efforts at all levels.

It was a different feel at Emiworo Community in Ajaokuta Local Government Area of Kogi State as the Shuaibu Abubakar Audu Foundation (SAAF), Commissions the renovated Emiworo Community Secondary School (ECSS) in the Area.

The elated dwellers of Emiroworo Community, comprising of the Bassas, ebiras, igalas, yorubas, among other tribes, trooped out in their numbers to showcase their various dance steps, Masquerades in their beautiful costumes also took turns to display as they welcome SAAF Grand Patron, Alhaji Shuaibu Abubakar Audu and his team to the Community.

While addressing the jubilant mammoth crowd, Alhaji Shuaibu expressed joy over the overwhelming reception granted him and his team, explaining that his joy knows no bound seeing smiles on the faces of the people.

Alhaji Shuaibu said education, empowerment and health are paramount to human existence, hence the need for his Foundation to focus on the three to add meaning to the lives of the people of the Confluence State.

The Philanthropist enjoined the school management and members of the Community to take ownership of the school project, promising to always contribute his quota to the progress of the society at all times.

Speaking at the event, the Proprietor of ECSS, Mr. Ada Abu, explained that the school has been sustained through Community efforts hence the staff are paid by the school.

Mr. Ada Abu noted that the renovation of the block of classrooms by SAAF brought joy to the faces of the students, traditional rulers as well as members of the entire Community.

He appreciated Alhaji Shuaibu Abubakar Audu for according attention to education through his Foundation, pointing out that his good gesture has brought succor to the plight of the people of the Community especially the school management and the students.

Highlight of the event was the inspection of the renovated Block of Classrooms, Presentation of an artistic sketched picture of Alhaji Shuaibu Abubakar Audu by a female pupil of the School, Cultural displays, among others.

A United Nations (UN) Special Envoy, Mr. Philip Bonn Africa Edward, SAAF Chairman, Members of SAAF, youths, other supporters, accompanied Alhaji Shuaibu Abubakar Audu to the event.
