Just in; CAC Management Disclaims Unregulated, Unlawful Investment Schemes.
The Management of Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) has distanced itself from business entities masquerading as agents of the commission to procure investments and business registration at a ‘Mega discount’ or either freebies including ‘Free JTB and FIRS TIN’ .

In a circular released by the management of the commission disclaiming the ongoing publication both on social media and other platforms and made available by the Head, Media of the commission, Rasheed Mahe it categorically stated that it had not licensed or commission any agent for investment/ registration of business particularly ‘MEGA DISCOUNT ‘ and with freebies including ‘Free JTB and FIRS TIN ‘.
These contents was fraudulently employed the commission’s name, logo , colours with crafty language meant to deceive unsuspecting members of the public into patronizing them. The Management said.
The commission asked the general public to disregard the ongoing fraudulent activities of disgruntled elements who had tactically adopted all it’s official insignia to legitimise their illicit deals, against the hapless and unsuspecting general public.
It stated without equivocation that it had not licensed or ‘certify ‘any organizations, person’s, firms, to carry out the illegal , ulawful and unregulated investment schemes and or procure business registration for members of the public at any discount or eith freebies, saying generation of ‘FIRS TIN’ was an automated system after due registration of companies on its platform know as Company Registration Portal (CRP) free of all charges.
The release says the commission is guided by the operationalization of Company and Allied Matters Act 2020(CAMA), before ,during and after registration of business entities in Nigeria.
It warned that on no account should any client and would be client of the corporate affairs commission operate outside the information provided on the official website ‘www.cac.gov’ including fees among many others, reassuring the general public of it’s intentions to providing the best services inline with the new vision of the organization.
