As Nigerians goes to polls, the Speaker of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi has praised the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, for living up to expectations of Nigerians, most especially early distribution of logistics to various polling units in his constituency, Toto Local Government Area and Nasarawa State at large.

The Speaker made the assertion shortly after he casted his vote at Galadima 2 polling unit, Umaisha town, expressed confidence that his party and it’s candidates will emerged victorious following their massive impacts to the people of the area.

He described the process as peaceful, fair, orderly and credible considering the earlier conduct and distribution of materials.

“I have put a calls to other places within my constituency and the report I got was something that gladden my heart that the process will be in our favor. ”

He said democracy has come to state, advising co-contestants to accept the outcome in good faith, even as he said leadership is ordained by Almighty God.

“I’m very sure and confidence that Tinubu w2ill emerged in a landslide victory, we have gone round the nooks and crannies of Toto LG campaigning vigorously to ensure that we triumph and deliver.”

“I am very optimistic that we will carry the day, we’re more grounded than other political parties in Toto LG and state as a whole.”

While wishing the officers and men of his party, urged them to be peaceful, law abiding and orderly throughout the process so that the nascent democracy will be sustain.

On his part, the Chairman Toto LG traditional council of chiefs and Ohimegye Opanda Kingdom, Umaisha Development Area, HRH. Alhaji Usman Abdullahi had voted alongside the royal family who accompanied him to the Galadima 1 polling unit situated at palace open space in Umaisha town.

He expressed satisfaction with peaceful conduct of poll, calling on INEC to sustain the tempo.

“From what I have seen this morning, the process will not only be peaceful but credible and fair and I’m very sure all the candidates will accept the outcome in good faith.”

Ohimegye also tasked the electorates and supporters of various political parties to be decorum in their dealing as election will come and go.

Our correspondent Yahaya Idris who monitor the process in Umaisha district reports that the ongoing election was peaceful and orderly in all the polling units and electoral wards visited.
