Following the recent tragedy leading to the loss of lives and property as a result of a gas explosion that occurred in Kabba, Kogi State, The Minister of State for the Federal Capital Territory, Dr. Ramatu Tijjani Aliyu, has expressed shock and sadness over the explosion that rocked a relaxation center in Kabba-Bunu Local Government Area of Kogi State, killing two persons and injuring several others.
In a press statement personally signed and issued by Hajia Ramatu Tijjani Aliyu Ph.D., Honourable Minister of State, FCT, specifically condoled His Royal Majesty, Oba Solomon Oladele Olowoniyi, and the families of those who lost their lives in the unfortunate incident, while praying that Allah in His infinite mercy grants them the fortitude to bear the great loss.
According to her, “I am deeply saddened by the news of the explosion that occurred in your kingdom and the terrible loss of two lives. I express my sincere sympathy to you and the families of the victims.
“This is indeed a great loss that you and your entire kingdom of Kabba in particular and Kogi State, in general, have encountered. I offer you my thoughts and prayers during this dark time in your kingdom. Please accept my condolences, and don’t hesitate to reach out, especially during this difficult time”.
Aliyu, further wish those recuperating at various hospitals a speedy recovery, just as she called on security agencies to thoroughly investigate the remote causes of the explosion to prevent a reoccurrence.
The minister, also assured the victims of her support and goodwill as they recuperate.
