Kebbi State Govt Signed MoU With Max Airline To Begin Air Operations

In a bid to increase its internally generated revenue, Kebbi State government on Monday signed memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Max Airline to begin air operations in the State.

A press statement duly signed by Atom Turba, Senior Special Assistant (SSA) on New Media to the Deputy Governor of Kebbi State, said the Deputy Governor of Kebbi State, Dr Sama’ila Yombe Dabai disclosed this when he signed the MoU on behalf of the state government following suspension of Azman operations nation wide, adding that Governor Bagudu have directed him to liase with the ministry of works and transport to engage the services of Airlines that will start operations in the state and Max Airline was considered due to it’s track record of service delivery.

Also speaking, the Hon Commissioner, ministry of works and transport, Alh Abubakar Chika Ladan said, Max Airline was carefully selected considering the record of the company in Airline services.

He further disclosed that the three days per week flights were to allow Azman on return to continue with their normal schedule which will eventually results to six day trips if not seven weekly.

In his remarks at the signing of MoU, the regional manager Max Airline, Alh Suleiman Arome Isma’ila, reaffirmed the commitment of the company towards ensuring effective service delivery.

He further expressed appreciation to the state governor, Sen Atiku Bagudu and the people of the state for the confidence reposed in the company saying they will begin operations as soon as possible.
