Kogi @31: Olamaboro LG Vice Chair Applauds Gov Bello
The Vice chairman of Olamaboro local government area of Kogi state, Hon/Mrs Blessing Aishat Ekele has congratulated His excellency, Governor Yahaya Bello on the occasion of the 31st year anniversary of the state.
Hon. Ekele disclosed this in a statement made available to journalists in Lokoja on Saturday, describing governor Bello as a leader with a Midas touch and architect of modern Kogi.
She said, granted that the founding fathers of kogi have laid foundation to spark off development with times, the real touch of that mooted idea is being witnessed in the era of Governor Bello.

The Vice chairman of Olamaboro local government stated that governor Bello has made it clear from day one of his administration that he is out for a total change in all facet of life .
”We have seen it in his investment in physical infrastructure, human development, health care, education and agriculture, including security in the State since advent of his administration.
”The administration of governor Yahaya Bello has rebuilt the State on the legacies laid by our past heroes with touch of mastery and modernity that will stand the test of times .
”We have got a landmark structure called Muhammedu Buhari Civic Center in Lokoja and Ganaja junction overhead Bridge that would be remembered by next generation.
”As kogi state marks its 31st year of its creation , I therefore wish the governor and his new generation team protection, wisdom and vision to steer the ship of the state to the benefit of all,” she said.
Hon. Ekele who commended the present administration for given a voice to womenfolk said without the initiative of governor Bello some women in his administration wouldn’t have gotten that chance in life.
She said ,”More women are now in position of trust, which is unprecedented in the history of the state. Thanks to governor Yahaya Bello for his initiative, and magnanimity and gender sensitivity ”.
She said Governor Bello led administration has made a paradigm shift that is enduring by given recognition to youths ,women and voice to children of ”nobody” before in the society.

Ekele equally felicitates with the state Deputy governor, Chief Edward Onoja,the Secretary to the State Government, Dr (Mrs) Ayoade Folasade Arike, the Chief of Staff to His excellency, Pharm. Jamiu Asuku and Speaker Kogi State House of Assembly, Rt Hon. Mathew Kolawole and Members of the Kogi State House of Assembly.
