Kogi AA Gov’ship candidate, Braimoh bags chieftaincy tittle for community development

The hopeful Kogi State governorship candidate of the Action Alliance, AA, Otunba Olayinka Braimoh, is the brand new Gbadegun” of Iyamoye kingdom for his immersed contribution to the development of the host community.
Iyamoye is a community in Kabba Bunu local government area in the western flank of Kogi State.
The Amuwajoye 1, Obaro of Iyamoye Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Oba Ibrahim Ade Momoh, has conferred the traditional tittle of Gbadegun” of Iyamoye on the kogi State Governorship candidate of the Action Alliance (AA), Otunba Olayinka Braimoh.
Oba momoh said the conferment of the prestigious title of Gbadegun was in recognition of the AA Governorship candidate’s uncommon integrity and leadership qualities which, he noted, have kept their Kingdom in the steady path of progress and development.
The monarch noted the developmental stride of the AA candidate across the state ranging from infrastructure, education and health care delivery which he said were the basic needs of the the people.
Global Times Nigeria reports that the occasion held during the just concluded Iyamoye cultural day celebrations.
The event was also said to have put in place to recognised some contributors towards fast tracking development in the area including intervention efforts of Otunba Braimoh towards the development of the community.
Olayinka Braimoh had during his campaign your to the area rehabilitated road, install street light, paid school fees and many others.
In an appreciation to his unwavering support to the community, various groups used the occasion to thanked the AA Governorship candidate, Otunba Olayinka Braimoh, enthusing that the Gbadegun title was the community’s own way of showing appreciation for ensuring that the plights of the community is ameliorated.
Responding, Braimoh thanked the Obaro of Iyamoye, HRM Oba Ibrahim Ade Momoh, Amuwajoye 1, for his thoughtfulness and praised the Monarch for his genuine love for his people. He recounted that his latest intervention in the community stemmed from a video he watched, where the people of Iyamoye community, including traditional leaders, resorted to self-help in order to make the road passable for residents.
Braimoh praised Iyamoye people for their resourcefulness, while promising his continued commitment to the development of the community.
The AA Guber candidate prayed that by the next cultural day celebrations, he will be coming from Lugard House as Executive Governor of the State to felicitate with the people.
The cultural day was attended by dignitaries, who were serenaded with wonderful exhibition of the rich culture of Iyamoye.
