Kogi Auditor General, YY Okala Fixes Road In Dekina, Calls For Support for APC’s Ododo
In a pragmatic move to tackle ahead on the nadir of challenge of rural access road networks that cut off major communities, Auditor General of Kogi State, Alhaji Yakubu Yusuf Okala, has deployed earth moving machines for the reconstruction of Odu Igegeli, Odu Ogboyaga and Odu Ofugo road in Dekina local government area.
Okala during the ground breaking ceremony at the project sit in Odu intimated his kins and kiths that the far reaching decision to finance the fixing of the dilapidated road project is necessitated by his conviction that access road will fast track the movement of good and services.
”Our People are predominantly farmers and blessed with arable land in food crops and rural feeder roads are 1 required for them to transport their farm produce to another locations, that accounted my kind gesture in deploying my meagre resources to grade the strategic rural road that links several communities”, Okala quipped.
The community statesman implored the contractor handling the road project to expedite action in ensuring timely completion asserted that it completion is sacrosanct to the socio-economic growth and development of the area.
Okala enjoined the residents to sustained the tempo of peaceful co-habitation with one another and provide a congenial working almosphere for the contracting firm handling the road project to complete it as scheduled.
The councilors representing Odu ward 1 and Odu ward 2, Mr. Suleiman Muhammed and Akwu Abdullah who spoke on behalf of the benefiting communities expressed gratitude to the State Auditor General, Okala for his resolved to influence social amenities to their areas.
They assured of their undiluted political Support and solidarity to the ruling party, the All Progressives Congress and her governorship Candidate, Alh Ahmed Usman Ododo in the upcoming election in the state as a reciprocation to Okala’s generosity and milk of human kindness to them.
