Kogi state Commissioner of Solid Minerals and Natural Resources, Engineer Muhammed Abubakar Bashir Gegu, has congratulated the Executive Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello on the auspicious occasion of 7th anniversary of his glorious governance of Kogi state.
The Commissioner, Bashir Gegu described Governor Bello, as ‘an excellent pilot’, who embarked on a hitch free journey for 7 years, blessed with bountiful rewards and dividends, coupled with great opportunities.
He said Bello’s remarkable 7 years in office has brought about peace and tranquility that necessitated unity among the diverse ethnic nationalities that constitute the confluence state.
According to the Commissioner, Yahaya Bello’s 7 years in office has not only been eventful, but full of blessings and greatness, which was as a result of the visionary ideas God endowed in him for the benefit of Kogi people and humanity in general.
Engineer Bashir Gegu who eulogized the Governor over the rapid transformation of the state, urged him to continue to do more for the development of the entire people, irrespective of ethnic, religion or section.
He therefore use the occasion to thank the Governor, His Excellency, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, for finding him and other colleagues worthy as his co travellers during the past 7 years and promised to be more committed and dedicated to duties.
While praying to God for protection and guidance, elevation and blessings to the Governor, Gegu also assured of his foremost support, unflinching loyalty and honesty to the Governor throughout the period of the administration.
