Bassa Local Government Chairmanship hopeful in the 2020 forthcoming council election under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Prince Adamu Ibrahim Alih, has revealed that lack of quality leadership and development give room to series of under development of Bassa LGA of the State.

Prince Alih spoke recently during a consultation tour to formally declare his intention to contest the Chairmanship seat for Bassa LG and call on the people of the area to support and join him take the council to an enviable height.

According to Prince Alih, lack of leadership and development, poverty has been the bane militating against peace, security and development in the area, adding that his aspiration would put smile on the faces of the people if given the chance and APC ticket to serve, he will battle poverty eradication and other economic challenges in the area.

The popular Chairmanship aspirant unveiled some of his agenda for the LG which he tagged Bassa Restoration 2020: they are include, Education, Health, Infrastructure, Agriculture, Peaceful Coexistence of Bassa citizens irrespective of religion and tribes in the council and other include youth and women empowerment among others, assuring that he will pursue a programme devoid of ethnic bias and that the goal of his programme will be to serve with fear of God in the council area in a most virile way and work towards ensuring that peace prevail in all communities.

He noted that during consultation him and his winning team have visited the three (3) districts which are Oguma, Gboloko and Mozum Kingdoms respectively where they met the traditional rulers, opinion moulders, youths and women among others.

He disclosed that his team has been moving round in order to engage the grassroots effectively on getting first-hand information about their needs.

The Bassa LG Chairmanship hopeful says he is a candidate to serve all and not imposed candidate, appealing to other aspirants not to get involve into character degrading of others, he lauded the Administration of GYBCEDO as the best good things that has ever happened in Kogi State.
