More encomium continues to pour in unabatedly as Kogi Education Commissioner joined Kogites to felicitate with his counterpart in charge of the State Ministry for Solid Minerals and Natural Resource, Engr. Bashir Gegu is marking his 43 years Birthday.
Kogi State Commissioner For Education, Science and Technology, Hon. Wemi Jones has felicitated with his colleague, Engr Bashir Gegu, Commissioner For Solid Minerals Development and Natural Resources as he turns a new age today.
In a message made available to journalists in Lokoja on Sunday to Mark the birthday, Hon. Jones joined his numerous friends and well-wishers to celebrate “this man of means from Kogi Local Government area of Kogi State whose heart flows with milk of human kindness.
He described Engr. Bashir Gegu as a true disciple of Governor Yahaya Bello, an icon, astute lover of the poor, a generous giver and one of the few leading lights in the state in terms of charity and philanthropic gesture.
The statement further described the celebrant as a detribalized Nigerian noting that the celebrant has deployed his huge resources to help the needy and the less privileged in Kogi LGA and beyond regardless of creed, ethnicity or sex.
“I have been privileged to witness your commitment to building a great society and humanity, driven by patriotic zeal and vision and ennobled by humility, discipline, as well as a deep sense of duty, honour and integrity”.

Hon. Jones, while urging him to remain focused on doing well, noted that Engr Bashir is a quintessential leader that he is proud to be associated with.
While wishing spirit-filled led birthday celebration, Hon. Jones urged his colleague to stay focused, prayerful, resilient, determined and above all continue to dedicate his life to God for direction as he journeys through to another year.
