Kogi Guber: Barr. Tanko Osuku congratulates Ododo, urges losers to embrace the winner.

IDRIS AHMED, Lokoja.

Chairman Kogi state Civil Service Commission (CSC), Barrister Muhammed Tanko Musa Osuku, has congratulated the Kogi state Governor elect, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo and his Deputy, Joel Oyibo Salifu, over their well deserved victory at the November 11 governorship election.

He equally congratulated the Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello and his Deputy Chief David Onoja for providing enabling environment for the conduct of the peaceful election.

Barr. Tanko who was reacting to the last week Saturday election won by Ahmed Ododo, said the victory couldn’t have been otherwise in view of his maturity, hard work and sincerity before and during the tedious campaigns.

He expressed confidence that the Governor elect will ignite positive surprises after his inauguration for the benefit of the entire people of the state.

Osuku also urged Alhaji Ahmed Ododo not to forget any of his promises to the people, during the campaigns, especially the unity, peace and tranquility of the state, adding that the issue of Kogi agenda should be prioritized.

He maintained that the outgoing administration which he is part, received several awards and commendations from several organisations including, the Federal Government and the Nigeria Police as the best on security.

The CSC Chairman also called on the entire citizens and residents of the state to cooperate with the incoming administration to make improvement on the legacies the outgoing Government will bequeath for continuity.

Barr. Tanko Osuku also commended the courage of other contestants and candidates at the various stages of the election, wishing them long life and good health for another opportunity for election.

He however advised the losers in the last election to support the new administration in the interest of peace and development of the state.
