Kogi guber, Bassa Populace settle for AA Candidate Olayinka Braimoh, rejects SDP
The campaign team of Kogi State Governorship candidate of the Action Alliance, Olayinka Braimoh has received a boost following the endorsement he garnered from the Bassa people of the eastern flank of the State.

Our correspondent learnt that the AA candidate had embarked on tour to meet the electorates as part of strategy adopted to win the November 11 election.
In a historic moment, the Social Democratic Party (SDP) Bassa Local Government Area have emphatically denounced their former party and collapsed structures of the six out of ten electoral wards with Action Alliance (AA).
The well attended political event Oguma, the Bassa LG administrative headquarters, on Saturday had the former six electoral ward Chairmen of SDP in attendance.
The ward chairmen who left SDP and collapsed structure for AA include, Jimba Tukura, Jere Joseph, Luke Jere, Samuel Kpanachi and Wodi Lazarus.
Others are John Nyizogembi of Ozugbe, Akuba 2, Ozungulo, Akuba 1, Ikende and Akanana Ayede wards respectively.
In a separate reamrks, the Chairmen said the AA candidate commitment to fast track development in Kogi if elected informed their decision to join his quest for a better tomorrow.
According to them, SDP is not a party to join, SDP only count tribalism to win which cannot stand the test of time.
The former ward chairmen commended Olayinka Braimoh’s wealth creation and distribution (STAT) agenda to across 21 LGAs is enough reason to join AA to push for a new Kogi State.
They also make a compassionate appealed to the hopeful AA guber candidate to fixed Sheria bridge if he’s elected governor of the State.
The party chairmen is reported to have joined AA with thousands of supporters from Bassa LGA.
On his part, the Kogi State governorship candidate of Action Alliance, Otunba Olayinka Braimoh expressed concerned over hardship the people at the rural areas are passing through, he said the people of Bassa deserve better than what is obtainable in that area.
Braimoh promised to declared state of emergency on infrastructure so that Bassa and other LGAs will stand a chance to restored their lost glory.
Olayinka noted that voting him during election do not required one to belong to his party first, adding that even in other party they can also do so.

He assured the people that his new government will not neglect any part of the State.
