Kogi Guber election: Ogbeha canvasses support for Dino to actualize power rotation.

Chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Senator Tunde Ogbeha, has appealed to the people of Kogi state to vote for the PDP candidate for the November Governorship election, Dino Melaye to bring about the much awaited power shift or rotation
Senator Ogbeha made the appeal on Wednesday in Lokoja at the unveiling of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Governorship candidate, Senator Dino Melaye to party leaders and members, preparatory to the November election.
He observed that a lot of injustice is being bandied to some part of the state by deliberately sidelining them from occupying the Governorship position just for selfish and other pre mordial reasons.
He therefore appealed to PDP supporters and the entire people of Kogi state unite against injustice, oppression and unnecessary promotion of ethnicity and sectionalism
PDP leaders and stakeholders who graced the occasion held on at the popular Farak event centre, Lokogoma in Lokoja, pleaded with aggrieved aspirants and party loyalists planning to defect to other political parties to exercise restraints.
Prominent among party Chieftains present include,former Kogi state Governor, Alhaji Ibrahim Idris, former Secretary to the State Government, Alhaji Musa Ahmadu, ex National Assembly members, state Chairman of PDP Engnr Sam Uhuotu and his EXCO members.
Others are 21 local government Chairmen of the party, Women and Youths groups as well as former political office holders during the 13 years of PDP admiration in Kogi state.
Former Kogi state Governor, Alhaji Ibrahim Idris, in his remarks admonished PDP faithfuls not to dump or abandon the PDP, as there is high hope that the ruling APC will be defeated especially with Senator Dino Melaye as the Governorship candidate
While advising party members to rally round Dino Melaye to flush out the APC and other political parties out of the state, Alhaji Idris, said he remains a member of the PDP with the resolve to collect power they lost eight years ago.
According to one of the Chieftains, Hon.Abdul Masuyi, the people of the Central Senatorial district are very much in support of power shift or rotation as being demanded by the people of the state, hence their support for the PDP candidate,Senator Dino Melaye.
Hundreds of PDP delegates from the 21 local government areas attended the unveiling ceremony.
In his remarks, the PDP candidate, Senator Dino Melaye, while appreciating the party leadership, stakeholders and entire members for the his Victory at the poll, begged all the aggrieved aspirants and all those he might have offended.
Dino equally appealed to his co contestants to be patriotic and give support to actualise the necessary changes that would transform the state to a better place human development.
