Preparatory to All Progressives Congress, APC, governorship primaries slated to hold on June 14, 2023 in Kogi State, a stakeholder and a Lagos/Abuja based Real Estate management expert, Yakubu Abdulrafiu has appealed to APC delegates to massively vote for incumbent Deputy Governor, Chief Edward David Onoja considering his impact and loyalty to his principal over the years.

Abdulrafiu is an indigene of Lokoja local government area, western district of the State and a staunch of Chief Onoja had been holding series of meeting within and outside the State with those that matter most in the State.

He described Chief Onoja as man of grace who is more concerned about the people as evident in the two position held ranging from Chief of Staff and presently Deputy Governor where he impacted many lives across the State.

According to him, Governor Yahaya Bello has done so much for Kogi State and there is need for continuity and the continuity must be someone who has the wherewithal to consolidate on already achieve gains.

“I have this believe that Chief Edward David Onoja is a perfect choice to succeed Governor Yahaya Bello owing to his massive support and loyalty to new direction led administration.”

“I have made my research and discover that almost all that indicated interest to run for Governorship election in Kogi State, Chief Onoja is more accessible just like his boss, incumbent Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello.”

Global Times Nigeria revealed that the present Deputy Governor, Chief Edward David Onoja hails from eastern flank of the State and is having upper hand in his quest to serve the people of the State after his principal completed his constitutional 8 years tenure.

Yakubu Abdulrafiu said Onoja antecedent and his extremely support and loyalty to Governor Bello informed his decision to rally him to succeed as the next Governor of Kogi State.
